Inkblot Productions is set to make your March interesting with a new film titled ‘Japa’ – a Nigerian slang for ‘run’, ‘relocate’ or ‘escape’.
Starring Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Jide Kene, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Bolaji Ogunmola, Layi Wasabi, Seun Ajayi, Chinyere Wilfred, and others, the film tells the story of a Nigerian disillusioned teacher named Mezu, whose attempts to relocate from Nigeria to the United States in search of greener pastures are obstructed by forced beyond his control and comprehension.
Isioma Osaje makes her debut as a director in a feature film on this project.
‘Japa’ is set to be released on Prime Video on March 8, 2024.
