ARSENE WENGER has confirmed that he will complete a £3million double deal for Nigerian teenagers Kelechi Nwakali and Samuel Chukwueze before Monday’s transfer window.
Arsenal are currently in the process of obtaining work permits for the pair after beating off interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
Nwakali, 17, was voted player of the tournament at last year’s FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile and Chukwueze, 16, was the competition’s top scorer.
Currently playing for the Diamond Football Academy in Nigeria, they will undergo a medical on Monday before signing as Arsenal scholars.
Wenger said: “The talks with the Nigerian boys are progressing well and I expect to complete the deal this month.
