TikTok stars Squirmy and Grubs are expecting their first child after years of fertility challenges and unsuccessful IVF treatments. The couple, whose real names are Shane and Hannah Burcaw, shared the announcement on Tuesday.
Hannah revealed she is 20 weeks pregnant, with their baby expected in January 2027. The couple posted ultrasound images while celebrating their new chapter as first-time parents. For years, Squirmy and Grubs documented their fertility journey and challenges surrounding their attempts to conceive.
They began exploring IVF in 2022 after fertility testing and later faced disappointing results. At one stage, testing showed Shane had zero viable sperm, creating another difficult moment during their journey.
The couple took a three-year break before deciding to try having children again this year. Now, Squirmy and Grubs are preparing to welcome their baby while sharing pregnancy updates online. Shane also plans to document their experiences through a baby blog.
Meanwhile, Hannah and Shane are encouraging fans to support other expecting families through a registry initiative. Rather than requesting gifts, the couple plans to help fulfill registry wishes from other families. Their announcement also carried an emotional message for people experiencing infertility.
