Everything Apple unveiled includes the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro models, Apple Watch updates, AirPods 5, and Siri improvements. Apple unveiled its biggest product lineup of 2026 during the September 9 Surprise and Shine event.
New CEO John Ternus led the presentation, marking his first major Apple keynote since succeeding Tim Cook. The iPhone Duo became the event’s biggest announcement, introducing Apple’s first foldable smartphone to customers worldwide. The device features a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer screen for different usage modes.
Apple equipped the Duo with the A20 Pro chip, Apple Pencil support, and up to 2TB of storage. Users can run multiple applications through split-screen functionality, making the foldable design useful for productivity. The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999, making it Apple’s most expensive iPhone yet.
Alongside the foldable model, Apple introduced the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both smartphones use the A20 Pro chip and feature improved cooling, cameras, battery life, and professional controls. The new 48-megapixel main camera adds variable aperture technology for greater control across different lighting conditions.
Apple also expanded artificial intelligence features, with smarter Siri capabilities and stronger on-device processing.
Apple then refreshed its smartwatch lineup with the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. The Series 12 introduces the S11 chip, improved health sensors, enhanced sleep tracking, and stronger fitness monitoring. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 keeps its rugged design while gaining the S11 chip and improved health features. Series 12 starts at $399, while Ultra 4 begins at $799 in the United States.
Apple also introduced AirPods 5 with improved active noise cancellation and adaptive sound technology. The new earbuds add real-time translation, helping users communicate across languages through supported devices and services.
Apple offers AirPods 5 in different configurations, including options with wireless charging. The company also showcased updated Siri technology, strengthening its broader artificial intelligence strategy across the ecosystem.
