Following the directive by the emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II that the state Sharia Commission to liaise with office of the Assistance Inspector General of police, zone 1 to repatriate and reconcile the 14-year-old, Ese Oruru with her family, #OSG can now confirm that the teenager is in the custody of the Inspector General of Police.
