K-pop group Ateez has landed its third No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 as “Golden Hour: Part. 5” debuted at the top of the chart with 228,000 equivalent album units.
The album sold 223,000 copies, helped by 30 CD versions and five vinyl editions. The latest release also gave Ateez its ninth top 10 album on the Billboard 200. The group previously reached No. 1 with “Golden Hour: Part. 2” in 2024 and “The World EP.Fin: Will” in 2023.
The new milestone gives Ateez the most top 10 albums by any group in the 2020s. The group moves ahead of Stray Kids and Tomorrow X Together.
Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung and Jongho released “Golden Hour: Part. 4” in February. They followed it with “Golden Hour: Part 5” late last month. The release came just days before Ateez became the third K-pop group to headline the BST Hyde Park festival in London.
“Golden Hour: Part 5” was the only new album to enter this week’s top 10. Olivia Rodrigo’s “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love” dropped to No. 2 after spending two weeks at No. 1 with 127,000 equivalent album units.
Ella Langley’s “Dandelion” stayed at No. 3. Drake’s “Iceman” slipped to No. 4, while Morgan Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” ranked No. 5. Noah Kahan’s “The Great Divide” finished at No. 6.
