An unarmed black teenage, Christian Taylor has been shot and killed by a police officer in Arlington, Texas. Reports claim that Taylor, 19, refused to comply with the officer’s directive to surrender after an altercation at a car dealership on Friday.
The Police officer, Brad Miller, shot him several times and has been placed on administrative leave. In yet another incident which questions the excessive use of force when the victims are black Americans, it comes to mind to ask why an unarmed teenager had to be shot.
Today marks the remembrance of Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager who was also shot and killed by a white Police officer.
Christian Taylor played defensive back at Angelo State University.
