Properties owned by American rapper and music executive, Sean “Diddy” Combs were raided on Monday, March 25, 2024, by federal agents.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the “law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation” were carried out in Miami, Los Angeles, and New York.
As part of the investigation, two properties in Miami and Los Angeles were searched.
The purpose of the raids and whether or not Diddy was involved were not made clear by the officials.
Several recent lawsuits have accused Mr Combs of sexual misconduct. His attorneys have previously denied all of the allegations made against him in the lawsuits.
The raided mansion is located in the affluent Holmby Hills area of Los Angeles and is connected to Mr. Combs’ production company, Bad Boy Films.
Two law enforcement officials told the Associated Press that the raids were part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
Recall that in 2023, R&B singer, Casandra Ventura popularly known as Cassie, sued Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in a federal court in New York last year. The two had dated from 2005 to 2018.
She claimed in court filings that the rapper had abused her for years. However, they eventually reached for an out-of-court settlement.
He was later accused of sexual abuse by two additional women who filed their complaints. In addition, a man also came forward to charge Mr. Combs with sexual misconduct.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs remains one of the most influential and famous rappers and producers of the past decades.
He is the founder of Bad Boy Records and is a three-time Grammy winner.
