Former Super Eagles midfielder, Mutiu Adepoju said the Super Eagles have all it takes to see off the Desert Foxes of Algeria in Saturday’s Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Uyo.

Nigeria goes into the clash two points ahead of Algeria in Group B following their opening match away win against Zambia in Ndola.

He told Complete Sports, “Algeria are one of the best teams currently in Africa. We can see it in their performances and also in their individual players.

“But I believe with the quality of players in our team we are going to win the game.

“It’s going to be interesting, exciting and tough. But like I said, we have the players who are capable of delivering.”

Adepoju, who played Real Sociedad and Racing Santander, said the players must play without pressure.

“They (Eagles players) are professionals. They just have to try and overcome whatever form of pressure they may face on that day.

Adepoju was part of the team that beat Algeria 4-1 during the qualifying series for USA 1994 World Cup.
