From Banking Hall to the Road Side: Ayowale Fatoki is building an empire

There is no where passion cannot drive a man to. Passion has driven men to the peak of the highest mountains in the world, to the darkest forests and to the deepest of the waters. Same passion has driven a Nigerian man, Ayowale Fatoki, from the working in a bank hall to selling Akara (Bean cake) by the road sides in Lagos.

Ayowale realised that banking wasn’t for him.  He decided to buckle down and go into the food business.  People will always eat food, and roadside food is a specialty amongst Nigerians. So, Akara Ayo was born – with a seed fund of as little as twenty thousand Naira, Ayowale got cooking utensils from his mother.

In this inspiring video, Ayodele shares his experience and passion
