It’s hard to believe, but we’re finally live at the Grand Finale Show of Africa’s first karaoke competition holding today at Ultima Studios, Lekki.
For those who have been watching all season and those who are just catching up with “TecnoOwntheStage” now, we’re down to the final four contestants of Africa’s first Karaoke singing competition.
Over the past sixteen weeks, they’ve laughed (occasionally), they’ve cried (frequently) and they’ve been tensed (during eviction), but now either Pascal, Nandy, Sikin or Shapeera is about to earn their place in the TECNOOwntheStage hall of fame, but first…
The Faces:
The finale commenced with the Hosts, Uti Nwanchukwu and Vimbai Munthiri introducing the contestants who performed together Ceelo Green’s- ‘forget you’ for the delight of the audience.
Next to perform was Tanzanian superstar, Vanessa Mdee. The media personality performed one of her hit song that got the audience singing along. It may interest you to know Vanessa flew into Nigeria just for tonight’s performance.
Nigeria’s Shapeera was the first contestant to perform for the Season’s finale. She sang Alicia Keys – ‘Girl on fire.’ Wow! She did set the stage on fire.
Next was Kenyans Sinki, Lastman standing Pascal and Tanzanian Nandy.
The verdict is in… Who’s going to be eliminated?
Just-in: Sikin from Kenya has been eliminated.
Round 2
For the next round of elimination, Shapeera performs one of Omawumi’s hit song, while Pascal took us back in the time with 2face’s ‘African Queen. The last performance for this elimination was Nandy. She performed Beyonce’s ‘Halo.’
Mr. Chairman MI spice up the final moments of the show with a song from his awards winning album. The crowd was gingered for the final moments of the show.
Who’s going home next?
Just-in: 2nd runner-up is Pascal from Kenya, while 1st Runner-up is Nandy from Tanzanian.
