Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has sparked online discussion after reacting to a Snapchat message in which a user allegedly requested ₦2 million for school fees.

Shock Over the Unexpected Request

In a video she shared online, Veekee appeared visibly shocked. She questioned how her public image might have led someone to make such a request. At the same time, she tried to understand what impression she gives people online.

Comparing Smaller Requests to the Bigger Demand

According to her, she usually receives smaller financial requests from strangers. For example, she mentioned amounts like ₦20,000, ₦50,000, and ₦200,000. In some cases, she said she considers helping when possible.

However, she expressed clear disbelief at the ₦2 million request. Because of its size, she said it felt far beyond what she normally encounters.
