Three Nigerian Women to Represent Africa at Cannes Lions of Creativity in France 2026

Three Nigerian women will represent Africa at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2026.

They are Jennifer Awirigwe, known as the Money Cheerleader, media personality Tomike Adeoye, and brand strategist Adetutu Laditan.

They announced the news on their Instagram pages. They will join the Woof Studios Africa creator delegation.

The session is titled “How Africa’s Creators Are Building Culture as Infrastructure.” It will hold on June 23.

About Cannes Lions 2026

Cannes Lions is a global festival for creativity and marketing. It will take place in Cannes, France. The dates are June 22 to 26, 2026.

The event brings together creators, brands, and business leaders. It focuses on ideas, storytelling, and innovation.

It also gives African creators a global platform. They can share their work and connect with global partners.

What the Speakers Said

Jennifer Awirigwe shared her announcement on Instagram.

“I will be joining fellow African creators and business leaders for the session: ‘How Africa’s Creators Are Building Culture as Infrastructure’.”

She added:

“This means a lot, continuing to see African voices take up space on global stages and unlocking new opportunities for collaboration, visibility, and growth across the creative economy.”

Tomike Adeoye also announced her participation on Instagram.

“I’ll be on stage with incredible creators and business leaders from the region discussing ‘How Africa’s Creators Are Building Culture as Infrastructure’.”

She added:

“I’m so grateful for the opportunity to represent African creativity on a global stage and contribute to the growing conversation around culture, innovation, and creator-led opportunity.”

Adetutu Laditan also shared her message on Instagram.

“This marks my third Cannes Lions, my third time speaking, and having previously served as a juror, it remains a privilege to champion African voices in global creative conversations.”

She added:

“Looking forward to connecting, learning, and building meaningful opportunities between African creators and global brands.”

A Strong African Presence

The three women are the only African representatives on the panel.

They will highlight Africa’s growing creative industry.

They will also show how Nigerian creators are shaping global culture.
