Kayla Wheeler was born without legs and with only one arm, but that hasn’t stopped the determined 16-year-old from becoming a championship swimmer and smashing multiple world records.
The Edmonds, Wash., high school junior is prepping to compete in August with the U.S. Paralympics Team at the International Paralympic Committee World Championships in Montreal; she also hopes to make it to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
