Seyi Vibez has taken a swipe at Blaqbonez, telling the rapper that Odumodublvck is still his “daddy” after the latter appeared to take a dig at him in an X post describing Lagos ‘agbero’ people.
The exchange began when Blaqbonez, the ‘Chanel’ rapper, took to X to distance himself from Seyi Vibez in a post that read: “Lagos agbero people please I am not Seyi Vibez dammit”.
The comment apparently offended Seyi, who responded with a series of posts targeting the rapper.
In one of his posts, the singer called Blaqbonez an “aladanu”, a Yoruba expression meaning an unfortunate person.
“I be won curse you b4 Blaqbonez, but I no go give you free promo. Aladanu,” he wrote.
Seyi subsequently brought Odumodublvck into the exchange, referring to the rapper as Blaqbonez’s “daddy” in an apparent reference to the ongoing feud between the two rappers.
“Blaqbones your daddy na still Odumodu, if you like go up and down,” he added.
The singer also questioned Blaqbonez’s relevance in the rap scene, accusing him of seeking attention through their exchange.
“Rap is dead already jare ah beg leave me I nor dey your set aboy. Werey carry that rubbish clout go somewhere else oloribu,” Seyi wrote.
He further suggested that the rapper’s online persona did not reflect real-life circumstances.
“All of una foolishness for Twitter no mean say make Blaqbonez no chop him cane. Real life different from Twitter,” he added.
Blaqbonez, however, appeared unimpressed by Seyi’s response, asking: “Se this guy dey whine ni?”.
The latest exchange comes amid a series of public disagreements involving Seyi and other Nigerian artistes.
In May, the singer criticised Adekunle Gold’s deluxe project, ‘Fuji Xtra’, describing the singer as “wack”.
He also called out Zlatan later that month, labelling the rapper a “backup artiste”.
