President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Washington DC ahead of the 2016 Nuclear Security Summit (NSS 2016) billed to take place from today, 31stMarch to Friday April 1.

Buhari will join other world leaders from more than 50 countries and four international organizations to deliberate on the theme of the summit “Protecting uranium and plutonium from terrorists” at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

The 2016 NIS Awards Luncheon also will be held at the Convention Center on Thursday, March 31; and on Friday, April 1, the international industry will present a joint statement to the world leaders at NSS 2016.
