Mavin boss and superstar producer Don Jazzy was among the chart-topping artists who performed today at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential rally.
As part of his nationwide campaign tour, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nominee Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate Yemi Osinbajo, were in Lagos State, the City of Excellence, to reach out to voters before the 14th February election date.
The delegation’s first stop was at the palace of the Oba of Lagos State, Oba Rilwan Akiolu who received them warmly and referred to the morning downpour as “a rain of calm and blessings” for the APC party.
After the visit, the delegation then journeyed to the rally location at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, enjoying an open air bus ride that conveyed them from Lagos Island. At the rally, the event was led by Senator Abike Dabiri-Erewa and Dino Melaye, members of the APC campaign council, who took turns introducing delegates to the people gathered.
Babatunde Fashola, Adams Oshiomole, Rauf Aregbesola, Bola Tinubu also took turns to deliver speeches of encouragement with Oshiomole saying, “We need a government that will put in place a coherent industrial policy that will boost the Nigeria economy, and Buhari can deliver on this.”
Other delegates on board the presidential convoy were: party National Chairman Chief John Oyegun; National leader Bola Tinubu; Director General of the APC presidential campaign, Gov Rotimi Amaechi; Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola; Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha; Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole; Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; Lagos State gubernatorial nominee, Akinwunmi Ambode, and many more.

There was some light-hearted fun as the Governor of Lagos, Babatunde Fashola showed off some steps as he danced off the stage to the track.
