The popular transport company, OPay has released an official statement on its Twitter page, announcing that it will be shutting down the ORide, OCar and OExpress services due to the harsh business conditions the company has had to face during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Opay however clarifies that the other functions of the company such as the offline mobile money agency and online digital payment will continue to operate as the company has recorded a huge amount of profit as regards these functions.
