The Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed on Monday that flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are still on hold owing to the UAE’s discriminatory policy (UAE).
Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, made the statement during the Presidential Steering Committee briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja on Monday.
Mr Sirika said that the protocol looked to be targeted solely at Nigerians and that it was discriminatory and not scientifically supported.
He stated that the UAE insisted that all visitors to the nation utilize Emirates Airline or spend two weeks in the country of the alternative carrier before entering Dubai.
