Reacting to the online buzz surrounding the interview, Henshaw said she had not been following social media discussions closely. According to her, she had stayed offline for several days and only logged in briefly to make posts.
She noted that topics such as sex, religion, and tribal issues often attract strong reactions from Nigerians. Because of that, she was not surprised that her comments quickly became a talking point online.
The actress also addressed the attention surrounding her intimate scene with Daniel Etim-Effiong in Blood Sisters 2. She praised her co-star for maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout filming.
Henshaw revealed that some of her male friends wondered how Daniel remained composed during the scene. However, she dismissed their concerns and described him as a disciplined actor who understood the demands of his job.
“There is nothing wrong with him. He has more control than the rest of you out there,” she said jokingly.
Speaking further, the actress stressed that viewers should not confuse acting with real-life relationships. She explained that intimate scenes are carefully planned and performed as part of the story being told.
“There is no reason for him to have anything to do with me,” she said, while emphasising that Daniel is happily married and focused on his work.
The veteran actress described him as an amazing colleague and said she enjoyed working with him on the project. She added that both actors approached the scene with maturity and respect.
