Iwobi saw action for 90 minutes while his Super Eagles teammate Frank Onyeka was an unused substitute for Brentford.

Everton has now failed to win any of their four league games played so far this season, drawing two and losing two.

Everton took the lead in the 24th minute as Anthony Gordon raced onto Conor Coady’s pass and shot across David Raya.

But with six minutes left to play Vitaly Janelt equalized for Brentford to deny Everton a first win this season.

Frank Lampard’s side is now in 17th position on just two points in the league table.

At Stamford Bridge, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi played for struggling Leicester, who lost 2-1 to Chelsea despite the Blues losing Conor Gallagher to a red card.

Both Iheanacho and Ndidi were introduced in the 55th and 89th minutes.

The defeat leaves Leicester in the 19th spot after losing three and drawing one of their four games played in the ongoing campaign.

In the 28th minute, Gallagher was shown a second yellow for bringing down Harvey Barnes as Leicester countered.

But the two teams went into the break leveled before Chelsea broke the deadlock at 47 minutes through Raheem Sterling.

In the 63rd minute, Sterling grabbed his second goal to put Chelsea 2-0 ahead but Barnes made it 2-1 in 66 minutes.

At Anfield Liverpool recovered from their loss to Manchester United as they destroyed Bournemouth 9-0.

It was Liverpool’s first league win of the season after drawing two and losing one of their opening three games.

The Reds have scored nine goals in a single top-flight game for the first time since September 1989 vs Crystal Palace (9-0).

Also, today’s win was their joint-biggest in their league history (also 9-0 vs Crystal Palace in 1989 and 10-1 vs Rotherham Town in 1896).

And at the Etihad, Manchester City came from 2-0 down to beat Crystal Palace 4-2 with Erling Haaland bagging a hat-trick.

The win took City to the top of the league table on 10 points and will drop if Arsenal beat Fulham later on Saturday.

And in the other result, Brighton continued their impressive start to the season with a 1-0 win against Leeds.

They currently occupy the second spot on 10 points same point as City but behind due to inferior goals difference.
