Ace Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Mark Angel, recently made a shocking revelation about his life and how he was almost sent to jail after he lost over N5bn ($3.7m) in investor funds kept in his possession.

The Port-Harcourt-based skit maker revealed this in a lengthy post shared on his Instagram page, how he almost took his own life amidst the pressure of losing such a considerable sum of investor’s money.

Mark Angel, also shared in the post how loan sharks raided him of multiple properties as he wallowed in debts that and had to deal with betrayal and some suicidal thoughts.

In his post, Mark Angel revealed some of the people who helped him through his tough times in 2024. He gave a special shout-out to his social media assistant, his friend Blessing and his daughters, Victoria and Mila.

One of the names he mentioned in his post, that got people talking, was that of his ex-wife, Mandy. He noted that the hand of kindness she extended to him during his travails would stay with him forever.
