Renowned Afrobeats singer Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid has stirred mixed emotions on social media with some of his recent comments shared on his X (former Twitter) handle about his late mum.
Wizkid who was one of the stars who performed at the Greater Lagos end-of-year concert is back on his social media handle after taking some days off. In his latest post shared on January 6, 2025, he opened up about the passing of his late mum and how it continues to affect him emotionally.
The Grammy-Award-winning music star also spoke about being alive and how much he loves being a member of the inhabitants of planet Earth. The singer, in his post, said:
“This life too sweet.”
Before following it up with a post about how much he misses his mum. He said in another tweet, “Miss my princess.”
Netizens have taken to Wizkid’s timeline to react to his post, where he revealed how much he misses his “Princess”. Below are some of the comments that trailed Big Wiz’s post:

“What’s our Princess name? We don give am Machalina already sha…”
“MORAYO IS BACK!!! Congratulations bby.”
The post stirred suspicion amongst some Wizkid fans who claimed that the current pregnancy his wife, Jada, is carrying would be a girl. We pray for her safe delivery.
