Health workers have been at the frontline in the fight against Coronavirus pandemic since inception. The Federal Government has decided to take this into consideration and duly appreciate Nigerian health workers by paying them two months hazard allowance.
The Minister for Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, confirmed this at a meeting between representatives of the government and health professional associations in Abuja with the assurance that the hazard allowance for the months of April and May would be paid before Friday, June 12.
