Court adjourns Odumodublvck’s alleged assault case over rapper’s absence

A Federal High Court in Abuja has again adjourned the alleged assault and battery suit against Odumodublvck, the rapper, after he and his counsel failed to appear in court.

The presiding judge, J.O.E. Ajayi, adjourned the matter until October 14 for the cross-examination of Levi Ogbogiri, popularly known as Kraziecent, the claimant.

Kraziecent filed the suit in 2025, accusing the rapper of assaulting him at a public event on December 16, 2024.

According to NAN, Kraziecent and Uchenna Ojembe, his counsel, announced their appearance at the recent hearing and told the court they were ready to proceed.

Ojembe reminded the court that the matter had suffered several adjournments and reiterated his readiness to proceed with the hearing.

However, Odumodublvck and Taiwo Akinsulie, his counsel, were absent.

Ajayi ordered a stand-down to allow the defendant and his lawyer to appear before proceedings continued. They, however, failed to show up after the stand-down.

Kraziecent subsequently entered the witness box, adopted his witness statements on oath and affidavits deposed to on February 25, 2026, and urged the court to grant his prayers.

He said he was relying on digital and documentary exhibits already before the court to establish his case. The exhibits included multi-party contracts, medical records, photographic evidence and digital footprints relating to the dispute.

The claimant also cited an allegedly unperformed booking contract involving Walex Biz Nigeria Ltd, Shelter Groove Ltd, Capworld Nigeria Ltd and Chinotem Nig Ltd.

He referenced medical records detailing a wrist injury and subsequent treatment, supported by medical reports and photographs. Other exhibits included WhatsApp communication logs and payment receipts.

Kraziecent is seeking an order compelling the defendant to pay his medical expenses and issue a public apology on his social media platforms and in two national dailies. Alternatively, he is demanding N2 billion in damages.
