Nigerian comedian Aderombi Adedayo Martin, better known online as Deeone, has stirred up new controversy after criticising Martins Vincent Otse, well known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), on social media for remarks he made against millionaire businessman Obi Cubana that have since surfaced.
VDM, who was just freed from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) captivity, is shown in the aforementioned video criticising Obi Cubana of abandoning Nigerian youths. His own words:
“Youths are crying; they have never heard your voice speak for them. But you will be carrying money up and down to buy people’s conscience. The youths are looking for job but you brought alcohol for them to drink up and down. Hey we don’t have a job, oya carry alcohol and drink.”

Deeone expressed his disapproval of the video on Instagram, raising doubts about Cubana Chief Priest’s connection to VDM.
Deeone said he was perplexed that Chief Priest was still in contact with someone who had previously disparaged his mentor and sponsor, Obi Cubana.
He wrote:
“VeryDarkMind is trying to bring Obi Cubana’s business down. Obi Cubana made Cubana Chief Priest who he is today, so how come Chief Priest is loyal to the boy who wanted to bring his master down and still friends with Obi Cubana at the same time? Can the enemy of your friend be your friend??”
