@Epheeclara:
“Canada radio stations played this song so much when we just landed that I almost thought we didn’t leave Lagos successfully”.

@seunosewa:
“Something about the line ‘for lockdown’ really resonated with the entire world.”

@Outtahighbee:
“The only thing that baffles me to date is how this song didn’t win a Grammy. This would have been one of the Nigerian songs that’ll be really worth the hype of such an award”.

@Yorhage:
“Not disputing it’s a very popular song, but it’s his video is edited. That exact crowd recital is popularly used”.

@Gedoni123456:
“It’s even the most viewed on @selenagomez’s YouTube. Some days back, I just wondered why and how? Listened to the song and watched the video again. And realised that yes, talent ..but more of Grace”.

@Ola_jubi:
‘If your song is a hit in India, Bangladesh & Pakistan, 3 countries twice the population of America and Canada, na too just retire Dey collect ur money Dey go”.

Rema talks about his ‘Devil worship’

In an interview on the Kids Take Over podcast, Rema addressed the wildest rumour he’s encountered about himself—claims that he worships the devil.

He dismissed the accusations, explaining that the visuals and colour choices in his art, particularly during his recent “rabid phase,” are purely creative expressions.

“The craziest thing I’ve seen online about me is that I worship the devil,” he said.

“It’s not worth responding to those claims; it feels like a waste of time. Sometimes, it’s just the colours we use to make an image pop. The ‘rabid phase’ was all about red, and people freaked out over that. But honestly, if you see a beautiful woman in a red dress, you wouldn’t call her the devil—so why call me that?”
