Big Brother has introduced a new twist in BBNaija Season 11 by dividing housemates into male and female teams for selected tasks and competitions.
Biggie announced the change on Sunday after the show premiered and contestants entered the house to compete for the ₦160 million grand prize.
Addressing the housemates, Biggie said, “The house would be split into two groups, the ladies and the guys, with key house challenges to be contested along those lines.”
The new format will see male and female housemates compete against each other in wager tasks, arena games and other challenges. Each team must work together to win rewards and secure victories.
The twist could change the way housemates play the game. Contestants must now balance teamwork with their personal strategies. The format may also spark new rivalries and strengthen alliances inside the house.
BBNaija Season 11 premiered on Sunday during a live launch show hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Organisers introduced the first batch of housemates to viewers before they entered Biggie’s house.
