Big Brother Naija fans can begin the countdown after organisers teased the return of the reality show for its 11th season.
The new season comes weeks after the conclusion of the Season 10 Reunion, which sparked widespread reactions online with heated arguments, emotional moments, and unresolved disputes among former housemates. With the reunion now over, fans are eagerly counting down to the Season 11 premiere.
Last month, the organisers shared a teaser on the show’s official X account with the message, “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer?” The post officially kicked off preparations for Season 11 and was followed by auditions that attracted thousands of hopeful contestants. With the selection process now complete, fans are eagerly awaiting the premiere on July 26, 2026. The live show will run for 10 weeks.
The upcoming edition follows Season 10, which premiered on July 26, 2025. The season featured 29 housemates competing for the ₦150 million grand prize.
Season 10 also introduced major changes to the game. The Head of House challenge was split into two stages. A Sunday challenge produced a temporary Head of House, while a second game on Monday could change the outcome. Housemates who finished last in the challenge faced automatic nomination for possible eviction.
The identities of the Season 11 housemates remain unknown. However, viewers can expect another season filled with competition, strategy, romance, friendships, rivalries, and unexpected twists.
Since its debut, Big Brother Naija has remained one of Africa’s biggest reality television shows. It has produced several stars and continues to dominate conversations on social media each year.
