Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Abi has revealed that her husband opposed her decision to join the reality show.

The chef and model from Osun State shared the experience during her introduction with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Sunday.

Abi said her husband questioned her reasons for entering the competition and initially refused to support the move.

“When my husband heard I was coming to the show, he actually fought with me, asking what I was going to do there. Initially, he didn’t support me,” Abi said.

Despite the opposition, Abi went ahead with her plans and secured a place in the BBNaija house.

She is now one of the 24 contestants competing for the Season 11 grand prize of N160 million.

Abi also said she wants to enjoy the experience and make the most of the opportunities available through the platform.

The housemate added that she intends to maximise her time in the house while connecting with viewers throughout the season.

Season 11 of the popular reality show officially began on Sunday, with contestants from different backgrounds entering the house to compete for the top prize.
