Nigerian music star Asake has announced his upcoming ‘In God We Trust’ tour following the record-breaking success of his fourth studio album, M$NEY.
The four-month tour, unveiled on the singer’s official Instagram page on Tuesday, will run from July 4 to October 24 across 16 cities in North America and Europe. The announcement sparked excitement among fans eager to see the Afrobeats star perform globally once again.
The North American leg will include stops in Chicago, Toronto, Laval, Brooklyn, Lowell, Atlanta, Miami, Houston and Los Angeles, with an additional performance scheduled in Colombia. In Europe, Asake will perform in London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin and Paris, while also headlining the Afronation Portugal festival.
The tour follows the release of M$NEY on May 1, 2026. The 13-track album featured collaborations with Tiakola, DJ Snake and Kabza De Small, and showcased a more refined sound compared to Asake’s earlier energetic style.
Despite mixed reactions from some listeners, the album delivered impressive commercial success. M$NEY recorded 55.98 million opening-week Spotify streams, the highest ever for an African album, while also setting a new Spotify Nigeria opening-week record with 37.5 million streams.
The project also became Asake’s first full-length release under his independent label, Giran Republic, in partnership with EMPIRE. Ticket details for the ‘In God We Trust’ tour are expected to be announced soon.
