Adeleke Promises To Change Osun In 100 Days
The Osun State governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), vowed to change the state within his first 100 days in office.
Adeleke declared this on Saturday at a rally to receive the former commissioner for Finance in the administration of ex-governor Rauf Aregbesola, Dr. Wale Bolorunduro, and his supporters into the PDP at Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State.
He vouched for the people of Osun that the All Progressives Congress would lose the case challenging his victory in the July 16 governorship poll because the election was free and fair.
Recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke, the election winner with 403,371 votes against Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the APC, who scored 375,027 votes.
Adeleke revealed that his major preoccupation was how to move the state forward.
“The whole world knew that the election was free and fair. The APC is just wasting their time. They have the right to go to court but I can tell you, it is dead on arrival.
“Osun people, who have voted massively for us, should keep calm and not bother. This time around, the people of Osun State have spoken and it is the will of God.
“The only thing I’m concerned with now is how to make Osun great and I am promising that in my first 100 days in office, Osun will witness a massive change,” he said.
