Gerard has been evicted from Big Brother Naija Season 11 during the week-six live show, becoming the eighth housemate to leave the ₦160 million competition.
The “Show Ya Sef” housemate exited the reality show on Sunday night after six weeks in the competition.
Gerard entered the house alongside the initial 24 contestants and quickly became one of the housemates viewers had plenty to follow. His time in the house included sharp conversations, strategic moves and several attempts to win the Head of House challenge.
Earlier this week, Gerard came close to securing the week-six Head of House title. He made it through to the final round of the challenge before Abi eventually emerged as the winner.
However, his run in the competition came to an end during Sunday’s live show.
With 15 housemates up for possible eviction, host Ebuka Obi–Uchendu announced Gerard as the latest housemate to leave the show.
Following his eviction, Gerard joined Ebuka on stage to reflect on his experience in the competition.
He expressed his gratitude for the platform and spoke about his plans to continue building his career in acting, broadcasting and content creation.
Gerard’s exit means 16 housemates remain in the race for the ₦160 million grand prize.
