Cassi Ezenwoke Nwosu has become the fifth housemate to leave Big Brother Naija Season 11 after losing Sunday night’s eviction vote, leaving 19 contestants in the race for the grand prize.
The 26-year-old entrepreneur from Abia State faced eviction alongside Araga, Gerard, Goddessa, Nomy, Temi Nkem, Tram, and Yusuf.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced Cassi’s name during the live show. His eviction brought his journey in the “Show Ya Sef” house to an end.
Cassi’s exit follows the earlier evictions of Martins, Mercedes, and Kamsy. Neche also left the competition voluntarily a few days ago.
The eviction means 19 housemates remain in the competition. They will now battle to stay in the house as the race for the grand prize becomes more intense.
Sunday’s live show also brought good news for Abi, the current Head of House.
Abi won the title of Most Influential Housemate of the Week. The achievement earned her automatic immunity from next week’s eviction.
She will therefore remain safe while the other housemates face another round of nominations and possible eviction.
Cassi’s departure also comes as alliances and relationships inside the house continue to change. With fewer contestants left, the competition is expected to become even tougher in the coming weeks.
