Nkechi Blessing Sunday, the Nigerian actress, says she would rather love wholeheartedly than guard her heart against heartbreak. She believes love can be meaningful even when it does not last forever.
The film star shared her thoughts in an Instagram post. She reflected on the importance of embracing love instead of worrying about how a relationship might end.

According to the actress, the fear of heartbreak should not stop people from enjoying love. She said people should appreciate beautiful moments without worrying too much about the future.
“I want to love with my whole heart, without constantly worrying about how the story will end. Not every beautiful thing is meant to last forever, and not every love story needs a lifetime to be meaningful,” she wrote.
Nkechi said she would remain grateful for the experience of loving someone, whether the relationship lasted or ended unexpectedly.
“If it lasts forever, I’ll be grateful. If it ends tomorrow, I’ll still be grateful that I got to experience it. I refuse to let the fear of losing someone rob me of the joy of loving them today,” she stated.

The actress also warned against holding back affection because of the fear of getting hurt. She argued that people should not hide their feelings simply to protect themselves from possible heartbreak.
“Life is too short to love halfway, to hold back affection, or to pretend we don’t care just because we’re afraid of getting hurt,” she said.
Nkechi further explained that love’s value goes beyond how long a relationship lasts. For her, the joy and experiences it brings are just as important.
