Mysterious deaths have been recorded lately in Kano; and these deaths have caused an alarm in the society as to the cause of the mysterious deaths. The Federal Government has finally broken the silence on the cause of these deaths as he said that 50 – 60% of the deaths can be linked to Covid-19.

This was disclosed by Dr. Osagie Ehanire, the Minister of Health at the Covid-19 press briefing. He however, stated that majority of these mysterious deaths are those over the age of 65 years. Since the Federal Government has been able to ascertain the probable cause of these mysterious deaths, it is important that urgent steps should be taken to curb the spread of the pandemic.
