A school near the Turkey-Syria border was hit by a rocket launched from the Syrian side of the border today.

A school cleaner has been confirmed dead while one person is reportedly injured.

Turkey has faced increasing terror attacks since last year and Turkish authorities disclosed they’ve responded to today’s attack in kind.

Turkey joined a coalition with the US last year to fight ISIS in Syria and ISIS has been fighting back.

Two other rockets landed near the school  as the attack has been credited to the Islamic State group.
