The simple, chic silhouettes of the 1960s are getting a colourful update when paired with the techni-coloured hues and bold patterns of the 1960s. Think shift dresses splattered with rainbow paint and swing coats with bold, geometric designs.
Business mogul and socialite Nkiru Anumudu was rocking this trend when she stepped out for International Women’s Society (IWS) celebration of International Women’s Day and Investiture ceremony for Zainab Saleh -the 58th President of IWS last Tuesday the 10th of March.
For the event which took place at Terra Kulture in Victoria Island, Lagos, Mrs Anumudu opted for a colourful fusion of neon palette and pattern in this trendy dress she wore as a top from Valentino Fall/Winter 14/15 collection.
She styles up the dress by pairing a matching purse, black pencil skirt, black pumps and a black choker necklace.
Her look is completed with her signature blonde long locks and make up with red lipstick.
