… As IllBliss Leads Charts
This week, Afro-pop superstar, Sound Sultan joins MTV Base VJ, Ehiz in the Official Naija Top 10 studio to go through the hottest music videos in Nigeria right now. He will also talk about his music video, “Natural Something” which takes the number 2 spot on the chart.
Illbliss’s “I’m Sorry” replaces DJ Xclusive at the top of this week’s MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 with his monster video, “I’m Sorry”.
DJ Xclusive, who spent 3 weeks at number one with “No Time” has slipped to the 4th place on this week’s countdown making Sound Sultan’s “Natural Something” and Skuki’s “Vava Voom” fill up the second and third slots.
This week’s other climber is D’Banj who hits the number 7 spot with “Finally”, up one place from last week.
“Voom Va” by Skuki is at number 3, while “Ekoloma Demba” by Timaya rests at number 5; “Talented” artist Dr Sid remains at number 6 for the second week running.

Every week, the Official Naija Top 10 powered by Star Music is put together by an elite panel of judges comprising Nigerian broadcasters, music specialists and tastemakers, working with MTV Base to pick the winners and losers in the week’s chart. On the panel are Onos Ovueraye (Bella Naija.com), DJ Humility (Rhythm FM), DJ Jimmy Jatt, DJ Xclusive (Cool FM), Big Time(Rhythm FM), DJ Caise (The Beat FM), Toolz (The Beat FM) and Osagie Alonge (Nigerian Entertainment Today).
This week’s Official Naija Top 10 premiered on MTV Base on NTA on Friday 15 November. The chart rundown can be seen onMTV Base (DStv Channel 322) on Tuesday 19 November 10PM, on AIT on Tuesday 19 November at 10:30pm, and on STV on Thursday 21 November at 7PM. Next week’s chart will be unveiled on Friday 22 November on NTA @ 11:30pm.
