Lead British International School has been shut down for three days following a viral video of bullying in the school involving some students.
The school shut down was announced at a press briefing by the Head of Lead British International School, Abraham Ogunkambi attended by parents in the school premises on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Ogunkambi, in the company of the Minister for Women Affairs and Social Development, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye who personally adopted the issue, announced to the delight of all present.
The perpetrator, Maryam Hassan has apologised to the victim, Namtira Bwala, and all those affected by the incident while awaiting disciplinary measures from the school authorities.
