Controversial cross-dresser and social media personality Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment by the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro delivered the sentence without the option of a fine today, April 12, 2024.
Bobrisky had been in custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since his arrest last week on charges related to currency abuse.
The arrest came after Bobrisky pleaded guilty on April 5 to a four-count charge of Naira abuse filed against him by the anti-graft agency.
