American singer and multiple award-winning singer, Beyoncé has revealed the track-list for her eighth studio album, ‘Cowboy Carter’.
The singer made the announcement on Instagram on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. The ‘Cowboy Carter’ album is a follow-up to her 2022 album, ‘Renaissance’.
‘Cowboy Carter’ features an appearance from country music legend, Willie Nelson, on a track called ‘Smoke Hour’. There are also speculations from fans that a cover of Dolly Parton’s hit song, ‘Jolene’ is on the album.
The retro-style poster features an extended title for the project; ‘Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin Circuit’. There is a total of 27 songs on the album, including already released ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ‘16 Carriages’.
After Beyoncé released ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’, she made history as the first black woman ever to top Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart. The hit also peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Further speaking on her versatility and reiterating the album’s importance, the singer says, “This ain’t a country album, this is a Beyoncé album”.
The ‘Cowboy Carter’ album is scheduled for release on Friday, March 29, 2024.
