Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, in a very touching video message, has personally disclosed to the world that she had been diagnosed with cancer.
Kate Middleton revealed that the cancer was found during her major abdominal surgery at the beginning of the year at the London Clinic.
Kate’s condition was declared non-cancerous by Kensington Palace at the time of her operation. Since then, the palace hasn’t given much information about her status.
Although the type of cancer has not been disclosed yet, the Princess started chemotherapy in late February 2024.
The 42-year-old princess stated that her medical team had urged her to begin “preventative chemotherapy” only once she had fully recovered from surgery.
Speaking further, Middleton said, “This of course came as a huge shock, and Williams and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family,”
The news comes as yet another harsh blow to the royal family, as both King Charles and the future queen are currently battling cancer.
There has been an outpour of support and sympathy from the public for Middleton since she revealed the news. King Charles also commented on how proud he was of his daughter-in-law for being bold and speaking out.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also shared their message of support for Middleton after she broke the news. “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace”, they said.
Recall that regarding Kate’s health, there have been a lot of speculations and insane conspiracy theories floating around the internet for weeks, especially when she recently missed a scheduled public appearance.
