Atlanta was on a total shutdown for Afrobeats heavyweight, Burna Boy.
Burna Boy who is currently on tour for his ‘I Told Them’ album, had a quick stop at the State Farm Arena, Atlanta on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
During his sold-out concert, the artist surprised the audience by inviting the iconic American singer Toni Braxton, whose smash song “He Wasn’t Man Enough” was sampled for his popular song “Last Last.”
Appreciating Braxton, Burna wrote on his verified Instagram, “My legendary guest needed no introduction either. Big love @tonibraxton”.
Another highlight from the State Farm Arena Concert was the performance of the hit song “Do I” remix by Burna Boy and Nigerian rapper, Phyno. It would be the second time in one week the duo have performed the hit song together.
The Grammy-Award-winning Afrobeats serial hitmaker is no stranger to sold-out shows. The ‘I Told Them’ tour is still on and the next stop is the 21,500-capacity Amalie Arena, Tampa, Florida, on March 11, 2024.
