Nollywood actor, Funsho Adeolu is against the idea of actors delving into politics.
The actor made his stance known in a chat with comedian, Teju Babyface on his podcast, ‘The Teju Babyface Show’ on Youtube.
While fielding questions from Teju Babyface, Funsho stated that actors who become politicians were never really actors.
When asked why he dwells in that line of thought, Funsho says, “Actors are supposed to be good people, but once you become a politician and run for office, you are not good again”.
Furthermore, the actor also revealed his reasons for not being a member of various groups and associations, stating that he cannot be part of a group of people who are not seeking ways to better people’s lives.
Funsho Adeolu also talked about the lavish way of life that certain actresses lead both online and off. He also added that Since money made from acting alone cannot necessarily justify an opulent lifestyle, he believes that some Nollywood actresses’ displays of wealth are the result of some sort of alleged “extracurricular activity.”
