Hakeem started as a beauty makeup artist before setting up a career professionally in makeup in 2008 working on Yoruba films in Nollywood.
The Ibadan-born artist is known for his works in movies like; Olobiri, The Milkmaid, Tatu, King of Boys, Omo Ghetto: The Saga, Anikulapo, Gangs of Lagos, and Shanty Town. He has also bagged the Africa Magic Viewer’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) in 2017, 2018, and 2023 in the Best Make-up Artist category.
Hakeem in every movie production has gone to show that no director can limit his vision, because he constantly brings unimaginable ideas to reality, making Nollywood gain the respect it truly deserves.
