Climate advocate, Olasimbo Aminat, also known as Yetunde Gold, has been trending on Twitter after she shared a video of her speech at the ‘UN’
In the aftermath of her sharing a video of her speech on social media, there was some controversy and speculation that the event was not authentic.
Following criticism and skepticism over the video, which led some to believe it was fake as the UN never hosted such an event, Yetunde Gold has now explained that the event was organized by UNITAR and was indeed held at the UN House in Geneva.

Today at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Never been this nervous in my life ? I didn’t know I was going to speak until the program started so I had to put this together fast. I am grateful for this experience ?? pic.twitter.com/WV4FWVKgGg

If you pretend she wasn't being dishonest from the jump you're lying to yourself.
Was she there yes, as a speaker? No. Did she meet who she said she met? Also no.
Well deserved trolling in my opinion.
