DJ Cuppy has broken her silence on accusations that she owes artist Zlatan Ibile payment for his feature on their hit single ‘Gelato’, this comes after Israel DMW laid claims that she didn’t pay Zlatan a cent for the Song.
She took to her Twitter page on Monday, February 1, 2020 to debunk the claims, stating that “There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers”, adding that she would be suing Isreal DMW for Libel and Defamation “However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation!See you in court Isreal.”

Davido’s personal logistics manager, Afeare Israel better known as Isreal DMW while addressing the reason why Zlatan blocked and denied knowing DJ Cuppy in public claim that DJ Cuppy kept all the money they made from their song ‘Gelato’ and didn’t give Zlatan a single cent.
He also disclosed that Cuppy didn’t take care of Zlatan when she invited him to her fundraising for her foundation and didn’t even give him anything that Zlatan had to pay for his own hotel.
Zlatan During an interview on TV was asked to clear the air on his relationship with DJ Cuppy and respond to allegations by the latter that he has blocked her on social media for ten months after he released her song ‘Gelato’ which features him, Zlatan responded by saying ‘Is he an artiste’ and added that he does not know her.
