On Monday, President Donald Trump awarded Tiger Woods with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in accordance with his recent win in a ceremony at the White House.

The president also praised the golfer for his dedication and accomplishments over the years. He said: “Tiger Woods is a global symbol of American excellence, devotion and drive,b these qualities embody the American spirit of pushing boundaries, defying limits and always striving for greatness.” In his acceptance speech, Tiger also mentioned; “You’ve seen the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, and I would not be in this position without all of your help.”
Last month, Tiger was celebrated for his fifth Master at 2019 Masters Tournament, making it his 15th major win over time.
