The National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended Governors of Ogun and Imo.
Secretary of the APC, Mr Lanre Issa-Onilu said the party has suspended Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State for anti-party activities.
Issa-Onilu also said the committee has further recommended the expulsion of governors Okorocha and Amosun to the National Executive Council of the party.
Okorocha and Amosun had both tried to put in place people to succeed them in the their respective states which they were unable to do. They subsequently approved the decamping of their preferred candidates to other parties where they are now running against the APC.
